In September preschool children at Kids Kare Schools dedicate a whole week to learn and talk about “men best friends”: domestic Pets. Children share their personal pet raising experiences with their friends and teachers. They show pictures of that special “family member” and occasionally even bring the beloved pet to school, to introduce to their buddies. All preschoolers are scheduled to visit a pet store in September. One of our centers had the pleasure of doing it today! Children were excited to watch a little dog being groomed. They tried to lift a real horse saddle and realized how heavy it was. Children furthered their education of pets’ nutrition and pet rearing. They loved playing with a guinea pig, and greeted the adorable inhabitants of that store. |
