Kids Kare West is proudly involved in our Community. On several occasions our children take part in visiting different retirement homes. Kids Kare West children, like all Kids Kare children,take flowers to the elderly for May Day and go to sing carols at Christmas time. Many times Kids Kare West children just visit the elderly to bring special smiles to their days.
On, March 2nd and 3rd the children at Kids Kare West were invited to visit Elim Retirement Center in Celebration of Dr. Seuss's Birthday. A member of the Center dressed up as "The Cat in the Hat" and read to the children the brilliant books by Dr. Seuss. The children also took part in singing some songs and were served cookies. We are honored that Elim Retirement Center took the time to include our children in this wonderful experience in celebrating the birthday of a great author of children books. |
