Our butterflies are finally here! We have watched and observed each step starting from when they we're caterpillars. Each caterpillar then wiggled their way to the top to form their cocoon, also know as chrysalis. From there they then break out of their cocoons and turn into beautiful butterflies. We absolutely had an amazing time and learned so much from these observations. As soon as these butterflies were ready to fly and their wings were fully developed, we released them. The kids also helped with the release of the butterflies and enjoyed watching them fly away! |
