This week we're learning everything we need to know about textures. We're discovering textures that are smooth, rough and even some that are bumpy. So now we're willing to test our knowledge with our outdoor enviornment. We took a quick trip to the neighborhood park to see what different textures we would be able to find. While at the park we discovered that some trees are smooth while others are bumpy. We also discovered that the slides are smooth, sidewalk is rough and so many more different types of textures! The kids definietly enjoyed being outside and being able to discover and compare different textures. |
