Cathy and her crew from Fresno Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitaion Center will be visiting our centers to show and talk about the life and habitat of the owl.  She brought three different owls for the children to see.  The large Barred Owl from the east coast (front page), the small screech owl who was rescued here locally and is now blind (right), and the beautiful Barn owl (left), who helps wean little stray or abandoned owl babies back to the wild.  Cathy talked about how important owls are to us and to the wildlife center.  See video clip in the video gallery  for a look at this week's presentation.
