Yee Haw!! We learned all about California and the history of our great state this week, all the way back to the days of cowboys and cowgirls. The children made cowboy vests and sherrifs stars to wear to our special cowboy lunch on Friday. The kids loved getting to dress up and eat the yummy food made by our wonderful cooks, including hamburger patties and cowboy bread. It was a great way to reinforce the way that people ate back in he early days of Californian history. |
