Last week our preschool children explored “Mexico.” Throughout this special week children enjoyed multiple exciting activities: they practiced counting in Spanish and learned some significant vocabulary, created their own maracas, had a special taco meal, went on a Cinco de Mayo fun parade, and played the piñata game. Parents and teachers from the Mexican origin shared information, music, costumes and stories with the children. This was a musical, colorful and tasty week. |
