Preschool children at Kids Kare Schools learned this week about Asian culture. Barbara, one of our teachers from Laos volunteered to share her culture with children at our various locations. She appeared wearing her authentic Laotian dress, handmade and embroidered by her mother. Barbara immediately found her way to the children’s hearts. They watched her dance, participated in the conversation she held and even followed her moves by dancing with grace just like her. We appreciate any staff member and /or parent who invests in enriching our multicultural program and bringing customs, flavors, sights and sounds from faraway lands. |
