Today in one of our centers, the day transformed into night and the grade-school room into a dance hall. This was a formal dance to celebrate the end of summer. The little ladies, with the assistance of their prettier than ever teachers, applied makeup to their glowing faces. The gentlemen were very proud of their outfits. The “open bar” included soft drinks, cookies and chips. The children were exercising some dancing moves and took part in a dance competition. A king and queen of summer were crowned through a poll vote taken throughout the week. Today was yet another exciting and special day. |
