Full of excitement and with big smiles on their faces our gradeschoolers set out for their Chaffee Zoo adventure. The children explored this magical place through an interactive tour given by a team of wonderful Fresno Zoo docents. Going from one exhibit to the next, the kids came face to face with orangutans watched as a couple elephants “sat down” for breakfast enjoyed the view from up top with the giraffes, learned how a tiger hunts and how the zebra defends itself, got acquainted with the Kangaroos and became friendly with the stingrays at the petting pool.
