We just learned about all of the things we see and feel in spring. One of the things we said we see a lot of during spring were, butterflies and ladybugs. So with this excitment, we brought in some of our ladybugs and butterflies to observe their cylce. When we first got the insects, they did not look like butterflies or ladybugs. They were still in their shells, also known as coccoons. We also are observing and studying the difference between the butterflies and ladybugs by using tools such as, a magnifying glass. We are so excited because we will get to see them break out of their shells in the next couple of days! |
