We are studying the history of the old western age. We learned how they traveled by horses and how they lived day to day. For example, we learned that they would cook their food in a big pot over a fire that is very similar to our camp fire. We learned so much that we wanted to live like them for a day. So we dressed up like cowboys and cowgirls for the day and enjoyed a chuckwagon feast as well. Our chuck wagon feast included some beans, cowboy bread and other yummy delicious food. We sure enjoyed being a cowboy or cowgirl for the day! |
