We're learning about our community this week and what it means to be a community. To help us better understand we're making some stone soup! We first read the book and talked about the morals that we learned from the story. We learned that if we all come together we can help each other and also how important sharing can be. We then came together and each prepped an ingerdient to share for our stone soup. We then got to enjoy our stone soup for lunch. Understanding the benefits of sharing was a very important part of this lesson because that soup was sure yummy and beneficial. The kids were so proud of themselves knowing that they made that soup together! |
