During a class discussion, Miss Amy's class decided to write to the new President in congratulations of his victory, and sent it to the White House along with their picture. An unexpected envelope arrived last week, containing a letter from the President, and an official signed picture from the White House. The idea of writing to important people of influence has taken off at Kids Kare River Bluff, as the children have now decided to write to President Felipe Calderon of Mexico. At Kids Kare, the possibilities are endless, as children take the reigns on getting to know people of influence and turning them into long term projects of interest.
