This week was all about our sense of touch and our sense of sight. The children made a texture board with bubble wrap, feathers, cotton balls, sandpaper and other materials. After they finished they would touch one of the textures and go on a hunt for an objects that has the same feel. They also had fun during phonics, when they practice writing their review letters in shaving cream. We experimented with different patterns during arts and crafts and math activities. Then we went to the park to see how many textures and patterns we could find. |
