Almost every child dreams of having a pet of their very own. This week we learned about domestic pets and the amount of work that goes into to caring for our favorite friends. The kids learned about how to feed their pets as well as what happens when they take them to the veterinarian. The visited the local pet store and saw some cats, lizards and fish. There were some large snakes too!! (The kids enjoyed the first field trip of the new school year, especially the bus ride!) Some of the kids took the pet shop experiences back to their schools and created a pet shop of their own in the dramatic play area. |
