Dinosaur week is always a fun one for our preschool friends at Kids Kare. We take many different hands on lessons to learn about how these amazing creatures lived so very long ago. From reading stories at story time, we then take what we have learned to explore the textures on the yard to see what we think the skin of a dinosaur may have felt like. We also dig for dinosaurs, or their bones, in the sandbox and end the week with an exploding volcano diorama of what the world looked like when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. |
