Pumpkin Science | Oct 24, 2006 | << More to News | This week the preschoolers at Kids Kare Schools started investigating the pumpkin. The first steps were observing the big vegetable, knocking on its shell and reflecting upon the sounds; talking about the color and the scent and holding different pumpkins comparing how heavy they feel. Today the children also had a chance to measure the big orange pumpkin and to trace it over their papers. In their papers, the young authors “wrote” a story about their pumpkins. Tomorrow the studies will continue. Stay tune… |
