We observe May 5th in celebration of the Mexican army's victory over the French. Some may even call this day the Mexican Independence. We love to incoporate diversity into our program and this was a great opportunity! We learned about the history of Cinco De Mayo and even got to have our own celebration and threw a fiesta. Our fiesta included making our own pinata, a parade throughout our center and then we got to fill our pinata with sweets! We then took turns hitting the pinata to get to the sweets! We loved celebrating Cinco De Mayo and had so much fun doing it!
