Oh look it's a frog and look there's a lizard running across the trail! Those are just some of the comments that these children have said while on this trip. We're visiting the River Center and we're learning about nature. While at the center, they've prepared a nice little hike for us that travels around their pond. While on our little hike, we look for animals or insects with our hand made binoculars. Once we complete our trail we split up into stations, one station creates a craft that involves nature and the other station is a story time and a outdoor expert explains to us in detail of what kind of animals live there. And some of those animals includes ducks, turtles, lizzards and even owls. This was definitely a funfilled trip that taught us so much about nature! |
