We're learning how to share this week with some stone soup.We're learning the value of providing something to share and by doing that we're making something bigger and better. Every class provided an ingredient to add into our community stone soup. The children had the oppurtunity to add their ingredients into the pot and being able to see how much bigger the soup got by adding their ingredients. Once all of the ingredients were added, our cook took the pot into the kitchen to cook and the children listened as their teacher read them Stone Soup. We were able to have stone soup for lunch that day and boy did the children love it! |
