With Fall being here, we are able to recognize the change in weather, the change in the leaves and the grass. To experience this change we took a bus ride through Woodward Park. We parked the bus and the children got to look out their windows and recognize the changes in our environment, all because of Fall. With the celebration of fall, we also got to be pilgrims and make homemade butter. We made butter with a jar, cream and a pinch of salt. The children took turns shaking the jar and being able to see the liquid turn into a thick creamy substance was just so amazing to them. We explained that this is how pilgrims made their butter during their time. Once the butter was complete, we got to sample our butter with some cracker and it sure was yummy! The kids enjoyed it!
